When trying to open CAT ET i get this:
No lights are on adapter, it is totally black/dead. Not even “USB” is light up.
Should not USB start to light when connecting to laptop?
Do I need to connect adapter to machine for it to work?

which year and model vehicle you connected ?
did you start engine or not ?

Hi,I did not Connect to vehicle. Only connected to laptop.
But adapter seems dead (no lights as shown in picture).
Do I have to Connect to vehicle for adapter to light up?

yes of course
you have to connect the vehicle and start engine offer charger to the CAT ET 3 unit , then will be light on
by the way ,make sure all cables connected well with laptop and your vehicle

I was sure the «USB» light should light when connecting to laptop:)
OK, I will try connecting to a vehicle then.
Yes , I’ve tested with connected to vehicle and it works fine:)
