When this issue occurs, the system displays “no SIM-card” in the telephone view. This indicates that the communication module cannot detect a valid SIM card.

Possible Causes

• No SIM card is inserted.
• The SIM card is inserted incorrectly.
• The SIM card is damaged or defective.

Solution Steps

1. Shut Down the System
   Turn off the vehicle system before handling the SIM card.
2. Check the SIM Card Installation
   • If a SIM card is inserted but the lock is not in the locked position, turn the lock to the lock position.
   • If the SIM card is missing, insert a valid SIM card into the card holder and turn the lock to the lock position.
3. Replace a Damaged SIM Card
