Autel IM608 + G-Box program Mercedes AKL on Bench

Hey, guys, let’ together have a look at the operation guide on using Autel IM608 with G-Box for Mercedes all keys lost. When you’re working with Mercedes Benz either you can do it within the car or on the Bench today, we’re gonna use it on Bench, using the W207.

Prepare:

Autel MaxiIM IM608 ALL-In-One Diagnostic Programmer

XP400 (in the package of IM608)

G-Box (Now update to G-BOX2)

APB102 MB IR Cable (to connect to XP400)

A new Mercedes BE key (W207)

An EIS (on Bench)

Here we go for operation guide:

Select “Mercedes” -> Expert Mode -> Password calculation -> All keys lost (The nice feature about the G-box: it does the password calculation even faster)

This is some diagrams or explanations on each of EISs, so just click “OK”.

Select “on Bench”.

Go ahead to select the EIS type. Today, we are working with “W207”.

It gives you the diagram on how to select it.

For quick operation guide, we went ahead and did it already. We actually connected all the wires together. Please note: one Mercedes is different from another one. That’s why it’s a W07 EIS.

So please make sure you follow the corresponding schematic for that EIS.

Once you set it up on the bench, please go ahead and connect your XP400 with APB102 to the IM608 tablet. Also you want to connect your J2534 box to one end of the G-BOX.

And in order to get power, we’re gonna have to borrow the AC adapter from IM608.

Please allow a few moments for your tool to connect to the J2534 box. Once you hear that beep, you’re about ready to go.

Click on “OK”.

Establishing vehicle communication…

Please follow the instructions exactly the way IM608 prescribes them.

Make sure you connect the APB102 directly into EIS.

Tap “Begin”, then “OK” – > “Ok”

Currently, it’s looking at the EIS as well as the actual gbox now.

Follow the on-screen message to do.

Collecting data and calculating password.

Okay, the password has been calculated.

And then “ESC” to select ” Generate Key File”.

It will display the EIS data, just tap “OK”.

Enter a 16-digit key password.

Make sure you always use the last slots to program the key.

Number6.

V51 (Half smart key).

Succeeded to generate key file!

The next we are gonna do is write our key.

Put the key into the slot of APB102.

Go back to the main screen. Select “Read & Write key” -> IR -> Write BE key file ->

Select where you made the key file from.

And that’s it. Autel IM608 will send that information over to the XP400.

And our key file is complete.

We just made a new key for this Mercedes Benz.

Enjoy!
