Overview
The P0100 Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) on Doosan heavy-duty machinery indicates a signal error related to the air mass flow sensor. This fault typically presents with the error code:
“E” SPNFMI: E00013219

Possible Causes
- Electrical Connection Issue
- Loose or corroded connector at the air mass flow sensor.
- Wiring Fault
- Damaged or shorted wiring between the air mass flow sensor and the ECU.
- Faulty air mass flow sensor.
- ECU-related Issue
- Defective ECU or poor connection at the ECU connector.
Effects of the Fault
- Check Engine (CE) Lamp ON
- Torque Reduction 1 (Mild performance limitation)
- Inducement Group 1 Warning
- EGR Block (for models with EGR only)
- Disables both active and forced DPF regeneration.
Component Location
The air mass flow sensor’s location varies depending on the specific machine model and application. Refer to the machine’s service manual for the exact location.
Diagnostic Conditions
- The diagnostic runs under the following conditions:
- Key ON
- Engine running
- Key OFF (while ECU remains powered)
Fault Code Trigger Conditions
The P0100 code is set when:
- There is a short circuit to battery voltage, or
- An open circuit is detected on the air mass flow signal line.
Conditions to Clear the Fault Code
The fault code will clear when the air mass flow sensor signal returns to its normal operating range.
Troubleshooting Checklist
- If the sensor is supplied by a 5V ECU power source, check that voltage is present.
- The sensor is typically powered by one of three ECU supply lines (SSpMon1, SSpMon2, or SSpMon3).
If a related supply monitor (SSpMon) fault is also present:- Diagnose and repair the power supply issue before addressing the P0100 fault.
- Inspect and repair:
- Air mass flow sensor connector
- Sensor wiring harness
- Sensor and ECU terminals
