Customer’s problem :
I received your Tech 2 scanner on Dec. 29, 2023 in Edmonton and today which is Jan. 5 I went to our local SAAB mechanic to test your scanner. He tested for me and told me that this scanner has internal fault and some problem with its power plug. He also inserted his own working PCMCI card for this testing. To show me first that this card works on his machine and then inserted on yours. It was SAAB software bought from Ebay.
OBDIISHOP Answer :
Hello, our engineer checked your photos, there have 2 situation :
1.Please check the Needle bending or not when you insert it, you can see the picture as bellowing, this is the board picture
2. The software was damaged, or your SAAB card was damaged (need your confirmation )
Customer’s answer:
I have a very good news. Today, Jan. 8, 2022 when I placed my PCMCI card in the slot #1 (closer to the back) as shown in the picture below your Tech 2scanner recognized my card and it is working right now. I initially inserted closer to its screen and it didn’t work. Thank you for your time and help in this matter.
PS. I recommend to insert some rubber or plastic info or block in this slot #0 as other customers who might have the same issue because GM Tech 2 training video was telling that slot #0 and not #1 should be used.
