Firstly, A3 is just a nickname of ICOM NEXT, there is no real A3. ICOM NEXT is the upgraded version of A1 A2, we just extended the name of A1 A2 and wrote A3.
Secondly, the name displayed on the software is the name of the driver, the driver is universal, if update the firmware to the latest ICOM NEXT, the driver will also display ICOM NEXT, but updating or not will not affect the function and use of the product.
Also the name of driver can be changed by engineer remotely on the software.
So pls connect your car and do diagnosis directly.
