Pressure Relief Valve Adjustment:

  1. Bleed the Hydraulic System:
    • Locate the bleed screw on the lift cylinders.
    • Use a torque wrench to tighten the M6 bleed screw to a maximum of 7 Nm.
  2. Set the Pressure Relief Valve:
    • With the hydraulic system at operating temperature, adjust the pressure relief valve (Valve 1) to the nominal load pressure plus 15 bar.
    • The factory setting of the pressure relief valve is 200 bar.
    • After adjustment, secure the setscrew with sealant to prevent loosening.

Line Break Safety Device Control:

  1. Adjust Lowering Speed:
    • The maximum permissible lowering speed in the mast lift is 0.6 meters per second.
    • Adjust the lowering speed by turning the setscrew (Valve 2) until the line break safety devices activate.
    • Do not completely unscrew the setscrew.
    • After testing, reset the lowering speed to its original setting.
    • If the tolerance level is exceeded, check and adjust the line break safety device setting or replace the device if necessary.

Lowering Speed Setting:

  1. Setting the Lowering Speed:
    • Ensure the load pickup device in the mast lift is at 0.5 meters per second, plus or minus 15%.
    • To reduce the lowering speed, turn the setscrew (Valve 2) on the flow controller clockwise.
    • After setting the speed, secure the setscrew with sealant.

By carefully following these instructions, you can ensure that your Jungheinrich ETMV 10-12 forklift truck operates safely and efficiently, maintaining proper hydraulic pressures and safe lowering speeds.
