How to solve the failure of Caterpillar 320c engine at low speed and the sudden change of the speed

1. Engine stalls at low RPM
The possible causes and solutions are as follows.
(1) The fuel pressure is low. Make sure there is enough fuel in the fuel tank. Check the fuel system for leaks. Check the fuel line between the fuel tank and the fuel transfer pump for severe bends. Check for air in the fuel system. Check fuel pressure. At full load speed, the output pressure of the fuel delivery pump is
(240±35) kPa. If the fuel pressure drops, install a new fuel filter element. Check that the fuel bypass valve moves freely. Install a new fuel bypass valve if necessary.
(2) Engine idle speed is low. Adjust the governor.
(3) The fuel injector is faulty. Install a new fuel injector.
(4) The valve clearance is incorrect. Adjust the valve clearance.
2. The possible reasons for the sudden change of the engine speed and the troubleshooting methods are as follows.
(1) There is air in the fuel system. Find the leak in the fuel system and fix the leak. Remove air from the fuel system.
(2) The governor lever cannot move freely. Clean all connecting rods. Clean the inside of the governor housing. Replace all damaged parts with new parts.
