Fuel Tank Breather Filter Replacement Procedure

Step 1: Remove the Nut
Remove the retaining nut (1) from the breather filter assembly.
Step 2: Remove the Washer
Carefully remove the washer (2).
Step 3: Remove the Cover
Take off the cover (3) to access the filter element.
Step 4: Remove the Old Filter Element
Remove the used filter element (4) and discard it properly.
Step 5: Install the New Filter Element
Install a new breather filter element (4) into the housing.
Step 6: Reinstall the Cover
Reinstall the cover (3) securely.
Step 7: Reinstall the Washer
Install the washer (2) back into position.
Step 8: Reinstall the Nut
Tighten the retaining nut (1) securely to complete the installation.
