Problem:
The comm adapter does not work. I have verified that there is 12.6V going from the connector to the adapter and it does not power on. None of the lights work and it will not communicate with CAT ET

The cables that came with the CAT kit are for caterpillar off highway construction equipment, if your vehicle belongs to on highway truck,then the definition of the plug pins is different and cannot be connected directly, otherwise the fuse will burn out.

How to make it work?
1.Use jumpers to connect the correct interfaces
2.Purchase an adapter cable from Caterpillar, that part number is 507-1011 9 pin adapter cable
