Hello, I recently purchased a GM Tech 2 diagnostic scanner, and the device looks great. However, I need to diagnose a 1995 Saab 900. When I open the Saab software menu, the earliest available model year is 1998.

Does the Tech 2 support a 1995 Saab 900?

The GM Tech 2 scanner is normally supplied with Saab software version V148.000. This version mainly covers newer Saab vehicles, which is why the model-year selection may begin at 1998.

For an older vehicle such as the 1995 Saab 900, you may need the earlier Saab software version V44.
