
Autel has released a new update (Version 1.80) for its MaxiIM IM508 and IM608 diagnostic tools as of August 1, 2025, significantly expanding IMMO coverage for 2025 GM vehicles.

Important Notes:
- The update does not include PIN code reading.
- PIN codes must still be obtained from third-party sources.
- Programming functions are now supported for newer 2025 model year vehicles.
- SPS2 is still considered a more straightforward method in some cases.
- The standard 2-hour wait with third-party codes remains in place.
This update enhances key programming and IMMO support for the latest GM lineup, giving Autel users broader coverage and greater utility on current vehicles.
