Important Note:
The tip of the NOx sensor becomes extremely hot during the test. Ensure it is hung away from any flammable or heat-sensitive objects to prevent accidents.
Steps to Perform the NOx Sensor Evaluation Test:
- Initiate the Test
- Select the NOx Sensor Evaluation Test in JPRO.
- Press Enter or click the Start button to begin.
- Choose the Sensor
- In the test dialog, select the NOx sensor you want to evaluate.
- Click the Start button to initiate the testing process.
- Monitor the Process
- Once started, the Start button changes to a Stop button, and an indicator light signals the test is in progress.
- During the test, JPRO monitors and updates the sensor’s status in real-time within the status window.
- The NOx sensor undergoes heating for approximately 10 minutes before the evaluation begins.
- Stop the Test if Necessary
- You can halt the test at any time by clicking the Stop button.
- Complete the Test
- When the evaluation concludes, click the Finish button.
- A warning will prompt you to allow the NOx sensor to cool before reinstalling it.
- Confirm by clicking OK to return to the Test Selection screen.
