
Note: The procedure shown was carried out on a demo model for better clarity.
Perform all steps on both sides of the vehicle.
Preparations:
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Release the Hand Brake
- Unscrew the hand brake release screw on the Tristop cylinder.
- Turn counterclockwise until resistance increases.
- Tighten fully using a spanner (SW24).
- Disconnect Components
- Unplug all air hoses and sensors.
- Unplug all air hoses and sensors.
- Remove the Tristop Cylinder
- Detach and set aside the Tristop cylinder.
- Detach and set aside the Tristop cylinder.
- Remove Brake Components
- Detach the lower part of the brake cylinder.
- Unscrew and remove the brake plate hex bolts.
- Using a slide hammer puller, remove the brake plate.
- Extract the Shaft
- Carefully remove the shaft.
- Carefully remove the shaft.
- Remove Disc Packs and Actuator Plate
- Take out the front disc pack.
- Remove the actuator plate and the rear disc pack.
- Detach Bearing Flange
- Attach a hoisting device to the differential gear for support.
- Use jack screws to press off the bearing flange.
- Remove the bearing flange completely.
- Remove the Differential Gear
- With the hoisting gear in place, lift out the differential gear.
- With the hoisting gear in place, lift out the differential gear.
