What is Allison DOC?
Allison DOC is a dealer-level diagnostic software designed for connecting, communicating, and troubleshooting Allison Transmissions. A new version is typically released annually, with Allison DOC v13 being the latest official release at the time of this posting.
To use Allison DOC, you will need:
- A laptop/computer
- A communication device (such as DG Tech DPA5 or Nexiq USB Link)
- Any device supporting J1939/J1708 protocols
The software can read all diagnostic codes, includes built-in troubleshooting features, and allows bi-directional functional tests, such as resetting the adaptive shift.
